Miguel Dean has requested our help.

He is currently involved in some development work with prisoners at Eastward Park women’s prison as an Affiliated Tutor with the Isbourne Outreach Team. The aim is to equip the prisoners with a holistic toolkit to enable them to overcome stress, anger, low self-esteem, and addiction, in order to ultimately reduce re-offending and assist re-settlement for the emotional, physical and financial benefits of themselves, their families and friends, and the wider community.

They currently have funding to run the programme for approximately 6 months (started September 2016) but are passionate about continuing the project long-term, therefore we have applied to the Aviva Community Fund Awards to secure this further investment.  After 3 weeks they have already seen an overwhelming response and results from the prisoners.

In order to continue the work Isbourne Foundation, who are behind the project, have applied for funding through the Aviva Community Fund Awards

They have been shortlisted for the Aviva Community Funds Awards! This final round is down to a public vote!

VOTING IS NOW OPEN & CLOSES ON 18TH NOVEMBER
