The Rotary Club of Colwall in the Malvern Hills

This Thursday's Youth evening promises to be the busiest for some years. First off we have our Young Chef winner. Masie cooked the most superb meal at her school to win. Here is hoping that the chef can help her do the same for us . I warn you, her apple crumble was the best i have ever had the privilege to taste. Her family and younger sister are joining us as well as Faye Borthwick, her teacher at the school.
Next up we have our Rotary InternationalStudent Exchange candidate. Matilda is a 15 year old young lady with a rather good feel for Japanese. Already talking and writing the equivalent of A/S level in the language, we are in the process of effecting an exchange with Rotary International and Rotary Japan. You will be amazed, or not, to hear that Rotary International has been and continue to be extremely helpful and productive in trying to make this happen. Matilda and her mum will be joining us and Matilda will be giving a short talk on her aspirations and expectations from this student exchange.
And finally, Tony will be updating us all on RYLA.
Members, that's three Youth events. Lets shout it from the roof tops that Colwall Rotary not only help the unfortunate and needy, but the Youth of the area as well.
See you all on Thursday for a first class evening.
