We gave every child at Colwall Primary School a bag with crocus corms in it to take home and plant, and started planting corms in the school grounds with help from the children on Purple Pinkie Day.
A good start, so only 3,000 corms to go!
Peter Key and Alan & Sheena Bridge have spent the day back at the school to carry on planting.
There will be another opportunity to show off your horticultural skills on Saturday 24th November at 11.00am when we will be doing the crocus planting in the Village Garden/Orchard in Colwall. As well as getting you out in the fresh air, this will also be an opportunity to see something of the work done by the excellent Colwall Orchard Group (COG). The Village Garden/Orchard is on Old Church Road, which is the right turn as you enter Colwall from Malvern, signpoted for Mathon. The orchard is approximately 700 meters from the junction and on your left. The track into the site has a sign with a very red apple. Can't be missed. There is parking on the site.
Hope to see you there
