Purple Crocuses

Rumours that all of the crocuses planted in the Colwall Village Garden (the correct name for the village orchard) had been eaten by field mice over the winter have proven to be exagerated. We now have a nice showing of crocuses and a hand painted sign (in my best joined-up writing) nearby explaining that they were planted by Colwall Rotary for World Polio Day.

The crocuses planted outside the entrance to the Primary School have also survived, and in that case we have a notice explaining all in the Notice Board outside the school.
