Youth Night. Thursday 10th January 2019

Thursday 10th January

Youth Night is intended to be a real celebration of all Colwall Rotary has done with young people in the past 12 months. The winner of the Rotary Young Musician at Colwall Primary will play for us at the start of the evening. Abigail Knight, the winner of our Young Chef Competition at the Chase Academy will be preparing our meal with the Chef of the Colwall Park Hotel. This will be a real treat; ask any of the competition judges - Jenni Griggs, Ann Goode or Jan little. We will be joined for the evening by a representative from the Royal National College for the Blind, Colwall Primary School, the Chase Academy and Bridge Education Centre and Longlands Care Farm. And we will have talks from Lous Hornby about her GAP Year project in a Calais Refugee Camp and Francesca Watson about World Challenge 2020.

Please do invite partners and guests. Pleas do invite prospective members. The evening promises to be a real showcase for the work Colwall Rotary does with young people.

Cost around £15 pp.

It’s not until 10th January, but with Xmas in between it will be on us quicker than we think. So please do sort things out now and give your numbers to Alan Torbet as soon as you can. Pay Paul by bank transfer beforehand or on the night.
