These are the two photographs that won the Photography Competition we organised at Colwall Primary School. They were taken by Amelia Elliott in Year 3.

Take one photo of a scene in Colwall which you feel best represents the village or would be easily recognised by others as being part of the village and take another photo of something unusual other people might not have noticed in or around the village.

Can you recognise where they were taken?

Following this competition we have now launched the National Rotary Young Photographer Competition in our area. Details on the Colwall Rotary Club website. There are 3 sections for pupilsfrom 5 - 18 years. Entries must be in by the end of November.

Can I ask everyone to circulate information about the competition on facebook and to friends and acquaintances whose children may be interested.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a local pupil winning a national competition. And why not? They each have as good a chance as anyone else.

Remember, “Aim high. Aim for the moon. If you miss you’ll still be among the stars”
