There was a big turnout for the Halford Keenan Quiz this year with 17 teams of all ages coming from towns all around for a fun evening. In the end over £700 was raised for Cancer Charities.
This was the first year for the quiz in a new venue - Colwall Primary School - and being opened up to an extended number of teams.
Circa £700 for charities.
Chris Mill , President of Colwall Rotary said, “How fantastic that so many people from different towns have come to support this great cause and fun evening.
“There was a great turnout of the members and supporters of Rotary, from all ages, a huge thank you.
“Of course, we will do it again next year. And with our growing membership, we are able to do so much more than previous years. If anyone would like to participate in these worthwhile local projects, we have an open door to those who can give a little of their time to help through those cold winter evenings and bright sunny summer days. Have a look at the Colwall Rotary website and see how you can make a difference.”
