There was a full house at the Cafe Morso in Colwall for the dedication service for Colwall Rotary Club’s Light up a Life tree. The Reverend Jill Groves from St Michael’s hospice led a short but poignant service, which included both carols and readings with the singing of carols was led by the West Malvern Community Choir.
And finally the Cafe Morso provided a buffet for everyone. Most people lingered a long time enjoying the food, the drinks, the conversations and friendship, and the atmosphere and ambience of the cafe. Many I am sure will soon go back again.
The Reverend Jill Groves left a dedications book with the names of those who have already dedicated a life to a loved one for people to go in and see. However if you wish there is still time for you to dedicate a light to a loved one – it could be in memoriam, to celebrate the gift of friendship or to mark a special occasion, such as a birth or an anniversary - and to support St Michael’s. The forms are available from the Cafe Morso or on line from St Michael’s Hospice at www.st-michaels-hospice.org.uk
