Colwall Rotary Club’s Annual Duck Race provides fun for all the family!!

Colwall Rotary Club is running its Annual Duck Race on Sunday 9th September starting at 1pm in Ray Gillard’s Field Stream, Croft Bank, West Malvern.

£5 entry fee for adults gives you also a duck in each of the 5 races, with 3 prizes in each race. Tickets can be bought on the day. Proceeds to “End Polio Now”, “Parkinsons Disease UK” and other Rotary Charities.

Children can bring their wellies, paddle with the ducks down the stream and get their feet wet. Or they can run up and down the hills in the field. Or just have a good time, while ticking off some of the 50 things the National Trust thinks all children should do before they are 11 3/4.

In the meantime mum and dad, grandad and grandma, uncles and aunts can have a drink and enjoy some food from the BBQ.

Tony Brook, the organiser, said “It really is my favourite event of the year. It’s delightful to see all the children, and a few adultts, splashing about enjoying themselves”

Oscar Brook and his friends will be very much in charge of the ducks next weekend!
