Colwall Rotary Club and St Michael’s Hospice invite you to dedicate a light to a loved one this Christmas.
This Christmas Colwall Rotary Club is again hosting a ‘Light Up a Life’ Christmas tree outside the Cafe Morso, Colwall village centre on Thursday 7th December at 6.30pm.
Light up a Life events are held by Hospices across the world at Christmas to remember and celebrate a life. Each light is dedicated to a loved one – it could be in memoriam, to celebrate the gift of friendship or to mark a special occasion, such as a birth or an anniversary. The lights lit by St Michael’s hospice at special services are also beacons for everything that St Michael’s stands for – giving care to local people with life-limiting illnesses and supporting their families and friends.
We would like to invite you to dedicate a light and, if you are able, to attend our service. Through your dedication, you will not only be illuminating the life of a loved one, but will be helping to provide support to local people who need the specialist care that St Michael’s offers.
To dedicate a light to a loved one and to support St Michael’s collection the dedication forms can be obtained from the Malvern Hills Hotel, the Morso Coffee Lounge, The Malvern Event Organiser shop (Church Walk, Malvern), any St Michael’s Hospice charity shop from early November or on line at www.st-michaels-hospice.org.uk.
The venue will also host a book in which dedications are recorded. We are most grateful to them for their generous support.
