You may remember that Julia Evans and Liz Kershaw visited our club on 23rd March and gave a presentation of the project which has tremendous potential to be a focus of activity for us as a major project.
The visit will let us experience the work being done and allow us to see for ourselves the considerable progress which has already been made.
Longlands Care Farm provides care and support in the context of meaningful work to help vulnerable young people ant their aim is to provide access to vocational experiences and qualifications in a working farm environment for young people who are not succeeding in formal education, and others who require specific support to enable them to take part in social and employment environments.
The meeting will commence at 6.30pm and be followed by a meal at Green Cow Kitchens Restaurant at approx 8pm. The meeting is self-funding at £11 per head.
In the first instance will you please confirm both your attendance and menu selection no later than 6th July 2017
To keep basic costs reasonable for everyone at £11 each, the menu choice is limited to:
1. Whitbourne Estate Organic Gourmet Burger, Potato Wedges
2. Wild Mushroom Risotto, Rocket Leaves, Parmesan Crisps
3. Home Made Green Cow Kitchen Sausages, Buttered Mash Potato, Crispy Onions
The restaurant can cater for 40 so there is the potential for wives, partners, guests. Alcoholic and Soft Drinks are available as are puddings payable by self as normal.
