The Rotary Club of Colwall in the Malvern Hills

Last Wednesday Colwall Rotary Club invited people to join them in Colwall Village Hall for a 3 course dinner and to watch the Colwall Players perform Happy Families by John Godber.

It has grown to be a tradition in the village for the Rotary Club to provide the audience for the dress rehearsal of the Players’ Autumn Production. The Club organises a 3-course dinner between acts, thereby creating a rather special  experience for the dress rehearsal  performance. The Players regard it as a very enjoyable and relaxed experience and its now been going for 14 years. As always the evening was sell-out and raised around £1500 for chosen charities for both the Players and Colwall Rotary Club.T

At the end the President of Colwall Club, Alan Torbet, thanked the Players for yet another sparkling performance of side-splitting humour. He also thanked Club members and their many guests for supporting the event once again and ‘Best of Taste’ for a tremendous meal for this novel event.
